A titan of Piedmont, Bruno Giacosa is one Italy's best producers. This Barolo comes from a tiny site in Serralunga where it's chalky soils help impart a precise, clean Barolo-style seldom seen. It has layers of red fruit tempered by smoky, spicy tannins and huge length. Stunning.
