Gobelsburg Brut NV



Dry, zesty and refreshing with delicious green apple character and just a touch of the tropical on the nose; and nice shortbready notes from extended lees contact. Made from Chardonnay with a smidgeon of Chenin Blanc. Taste this and you'll be surprised to learn it is made using the Charmat (transfer) method. In this case, however, the tanks are very small and Mauricio dotes on them as though they were new oak barrels.
