The organic Bodegas Ameztoi is situated in the fishing village of Getaria, deep in the heart of the Basque country of northern Spain, overlooking the Bay of Biscay.
Made from made from the Hondarribi Zuri grape (aka Petit Courbu in France). This wine is intensely fresh and dry on the palate with zingy,fresh acidity. Secondary flavours of ginger, white pepper and lime juice lead to a short, sharp finish. The acidity makes this a perfect accompaniment to salty seafood dishes. Try with a plate of salted anchovies and black olives.
