Description
Made from made from the Hondarribi Zuri grape (aka Petit Courbu in France). This wine is intensely fresh and dry on the palate with almost eye-watering acidity. Secondary flavours of honey and ginger leading to a short, sharp finish. The acidity makes this a perfect accompaniment to salty seafood dishes. Try with a plate of salted anchovies and black olives. Also great with scallops with chorizo or grilled mackerel with a sage sauce.
The organic Bodegas Ameztoi is situated in the fishing village of Getaria, deep in the heart of the Basque country of northern Spain, overlooking the Bay of Biscay.
