Description

Showing lovely Chardonnay typicity on the nose, completely unhampered and undisguised by any oak influence whatsoever; the result is a brisk attack on the nose of fresh apples and pears with a nice citrus streak. The palate is surprisingly broad and rich for a young, unoaked Chardonnay, with loads of mid palate fruit; yet the acidity is wonderfully vibrant and crisp, making the whole thing perfectly balanced. This shows distinct Burgundian character, not unlike very good Chablis from a very good vintage.
