£21.00Our view: A rich, chocolatey wine made from a blend of 69% Syrah with the rest made up of Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Viognier. It was matured for 15 months in French oak barrels resulting in an intense spicy nose filled with plums and violets. It is elegant and succulent on the palate with smooth tannins and a lengthy finish. Pair with game, stews, barbecued food and strong, mature cheese.
